Mastergrain History

From Humble Beginnings

1962

Weber Manufacturing Ltd. started in Windsor, Ontario Canada.

1967

Moved to Midland Ontario, Weber Tool & Mold Div.

1989

Est. Nickel Tooling Technology (NTT) Div.

1999-2000

new Nickel Vapor Deposition (NVD) business and facility. The only one of its kind in the world.

2007

Weber is acquired by Zynik Capital Corp.

Growth and Continuous Improvement

2008

By leveraging the capabilities of NVD, Weber launches premium fiberglass door products under the MASTERGRAIN™ brand.

2018

MASTERGRAIN business doubles and Weber invests millions into manufacturing capabilities.

2019

MASTERGRAIN transitions from selling door skins, panels and components to enter pre-hung door manufacturing in Ontario, Canada.

2020

MASTERGRAIN continues to evolve its product offering adding patio door manufacturing in its facility in Vaughan.

2022

MASTERGRAIN product offering, and the brand continues to grow in ways that differentiate it from all competitors.

2024

MASTERGRAIN unveiled the refreshed MASTERGRAIN™ brand.
